Abubaker Zahoor is a US-based Pakistani writer. He holds a PhD in English from the Center for Writers at the University of Southern Mississippi and an MFA in Fiction from Miami University of Ohio. He has published a book of creative nonfiction, Evening Rides With My Guru (Book Corner, 2017), and his short fiction appears or is forthcoming in The Columbia Review, Beloit Fiction Journal, and elsewhere. He has served in editorial roles with The Mississippi Review, Product Magazine, and Miami University Press. He lives in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with his wife, the poet India Smith, and their philosopher cat, Remus.
